The code usually consisted of an 8-digit number (older phone models) and 16-digit network codes in newer devices. it already has a default password, and was asking me to enter that. An unlock code can be purchased from a reputable service provider. I thought the phone was asking me to enter (read: create) the password for the SIM card, but nope. ![]() Timely that I would decide this morning to try and set up a password for my SIM card.
